May 10 on 10: Personal Project | Seattle Photographer

A few weeks ago, I headed up to Roozengaarde in Mt Vernon to photograph a friend/client’s kids with a beautiful backdrop of tulips. After our session, we were walking around and viewing the tulips, and it occurred to me that these beautiful flowers would make a perfect addition to this personal project! We managed to time our session and subsequent walk around the fields and gardens for an evening when the blooms were gorgeous, the crowds were non-existent, and the weather mostly cooperated. While we got a few raindrops when we first arrived, the rain held off and we had a beautiful night. Even the kids had a blast looking at the flowers and taking their own pictures on their Mom’s phone!

Wow Lexie, you managed to get some gorgeous images.  I love tulips and you got some great shots of them.  I love the selective focus in these images.  Thank you for brightening up my evening.  ReplyCancel
